Nearby is the city and commune of Caboledo, which belongs to the municipality of Quissama.
Located 120 km south of the city of Luanda, the vastness of Cabo Ledo's beaches with crystal-clear waters and the beauty of the immense cliffs surrounding a long stretch of white sand make this a stunning location, also ideal for fishing and surfing.
Cabo Ledo also holds inestimable historical value, as in 1648 the fleet that came from Brazil landed here to reclaim Angola for Portuguese rule after seven years under Dutch rule.
