inform that it will take place on the 27th of March, at 09:00, in the Auditorium of the Currency Museum, in Luanda, an event called
“TOURISM IN ANGOLA - CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES”
with a panel of distinguished guests and tour operators, to debate a topic of great relevance in the panorama of national development.
Additionally, Journalist Natália Henriques will officially launch her most recent work, an edition of NH CONTEUDOS, “Know – Get to Know Angola”, a bilingual publication (Portuguese/English), with photography by Kostadin Luchansky.

ABOUT THE BOOK / AUTHOR'S NOTE GET TO KNOW - GET TO KNOW ANGOLA, and an unpretentious journalistic work, which involved many hours of research and multiple readings. Research, interviews and readings that previously shaped journalistic texts in publication I hope for tips about Angola and its provinces. It is not intended to be a historical work,
scientific and much less finished. It's just a portrait, that's it, with some curiosities and incursions into territories of legends and traditions that, I hope, arouse the curiosity and interest of people who visit Angola or live here, Angolans
or not.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR (her by her):NATA LIA HENRIQUES, born in Almada, Portugal, I have lived in several countries, namely Mozambique, Egypt, Italy, having settled in Angola for the last 13 years. Journalist, graduated in Art History, with a vast and diverse curriculum, with stints on Radio, Television and Press, writer, author and editor, passionate about the art of writing, I left many literary projects in the “drawer” to respond to the immense requests and an intense and diverse activity, which my restless spirit has always fueled.
Enriching experiences, all of them, as I believe that every lesson has a price, but that it is always worth it even when the price is high.
In recent years, contact with Angolan authors, whose works I edited, brought me knowledge about the history of Angola, in the most diverse aspects. I confess that I was moved, laughed and cried, with all the stories experienced in the first person, especially in times of war, and I learned to respect and love this people and this land as my own.
Getting to Know Angola is the result of many readings, of careful observation, of texts that I wrote and saved, some of which I even published on social media to the delight of my friends, former professional colleagues in Portugal,
some from Angola, others who passed through here.
The photographic collection to which I had access, which was kindly made available to me by Kostadin Luchansky, from Angola Image Bank, who I cannot thank enough, will help me to introduce you to the most beautiful places in this immense country and also many stories that, in each of the 18 provinces, deserve to be told.
Being translated into English was due to the ambition that this work crosses borders and that when Angola is talked about in other countries, it is not just for negative reasons.
I thank the many friends I made here, who respected me and valued my work and, above all, for opening their hearts to me and sharing their life stories with me.
